New lake record: 34lb 8oz mirror from Oak Mere

Tom Reeves has broken the fishery record with the big linear from the Point swim, banked at ten past five on Sunday morning after a two-night session. Taken on a solid bag over the clear spot at forty yards. That's the third time she's been out this year and she's put on nearly two pounds since April.

Well done Tom, and thanks for getting her back so quickly.

Autumn stocking: 400lb going into Willow

The order's in with the farm. End of September we're putting 400lb of mirrors and commons between 4lb and 12lb into Willow, plus 200 F1s to keep the match weights up. The lake will be closed for one day while the fish go in. We'll confirm the date nearer the time on Facebook and here.

Alder Pool weed cut, Wednesday 2 September

Alder will be closed all day on Wednesday 2 September for the annual weed cut. Willow and Oak Mere are open as normal. Sorry for the short notice, it's weather dependent and this is the first dry week we've had.
