The Landing Net exists for one reason: fisheries deserve better websites than they've been getting, and they shouldn't have to pay agency money to get one.
Most fishery websites fall into one of two piles. Either they were built by a general web agency who charged three grand, called every lake a "product" and disappeared after launch. Or they were never built at all, and the whole thing runs off a Facebook page, a mobile number and a laminated sign on the gate.
Neither is good enough. An angler deciding where to spend their Saturday wants to know what's in the lake, what it costs, whether there's a peg free, where to park and whether the café does bacon. If they can't find that in about thirty seconds, they go somewhere that tells them.
So I only build websites for fisheries and fishing lakes. That means I already know what a stock list is, why night tickets are priced differently, what a match diary needs to show, and why "peg 14 is on the point" is the most important sentence on the page.
No learning curve on your money. No explaining the basics of your own business to the person you're paying.
Every industry has habits worth breaking. These are the ones that annoyed me enough to start something.

It's registered in your name from day one. If you leave, it goes with you, and I'll help with the transfer.
The monthly runs month to month. If the site isn't earning its keep, you shouldn't be locked into paying for it.
Your lakes, your photos, your layout, your colours. If it could be another fishery's website with the logo swapped, I've done it wrong.
A landing net is the last thing between a good day and a story about the one that got away. It's the bit that turns effort into a result.
That's the job of a fishery website too. You've already done the hard part: the stocking, the maintenance, the early mornings, the years of getting the water right. The website is just what makes sure the angler who was almost going to come, comes.
